Vanilla

Commander Magic doesn't tend to be the most beginner-friendly game mode. Singleton formats in general means a ton of information coming in all the time, and especially with 4 players in a game, it's really easy to get lost as a beginner. Additionally, I realized that I don't really have a proper aggro deck - even the Gruul deck is all about late game combo. And so, the vanilla deck was born. I had had my eye on Jasmine Boreal for a while already, so I decided to dive in and make a largely beginner-friendly vanillas-matter deck that with a pretty simple game plan: creature hit face. I know that Jasmine probably works better with mass token generation, but I decided to play her more straight and steady, ramping into big beasties like Richard Garfield intended.
